Rohtang Pass

This heavently enjoy point to the unspoilt valley of lahaul & sapiti   is 15 km frommanali at a height of 13,400 ft on the high way .this pass is open only from june to septmber  however trekkess can manage  to venture across earlier also .heavy snow keeps the valley secluded for rest of the year .20^th bhadon is an aspivious day for pilgrims to visit the dashohar lake .

Rahalla falls 

This enchanting wter fall is 16 km from manali on the rohtang pass road at an altitude of 8,500 ft approachable by bus ,jeep &pony

Kothi 

Pictures que camping place at the foot of rohtang  pass 12 km from manali.A legendary cave prini village renowned for arjun’s tapasya to get pashupati ashtray (weapon ) from lord Indira .

 

Nehru kund

A sparklingly clear cold water spring  6 km from manali on keylong road named after late prime minister pt jwahar lal Nehru who was a regular visitor’s to this area

 Beas Kund 

This kund is the source of the beas river at the rohtang pass great  vyas rishi  performed tap (meditation) here during mahbharat  kal

Hanimba Devi temple 

Located in a peaceful wooded glade the temple is dedicated to the lacal myth was a  mountain belle rescued  from her evil – demon brither by god bhim who married her later she is worshiped by the people  as a protector from evil omens and natural calamities and from evil omens and natural calamities and revered as mother goddess

Mountaineering institute 

Aleo behal at a distance of 2-5 km across the river on the left bank of beas river house the sprawling institute known the world over for training facilities in mountaineering & sking in the from of basic as well as advanced courses.

Solang Valley 

The valley 13km from manali offers splendid  view of glaciers and snow clad mountain peaks with excellent sking  slopes.

Jagatsukh

Shiva temple in this village at distance of 6kms from manali and 12kms from nagger at the left bank of beas river is thronged by worshippers of the lord.
